Lemonade was created by a group of high school juniors in June of 2021 directly after finishing their school year. With a total crew of seven, the group had to help each other and work as a team to overcome unforeseen obstacles such as nearby construction, breaking for passing cars, and over 100º heat. Shooting from 6:00 am until 5:00 pm and editing for the following three months, the crew gained the experience of creating their own project almost entirely on their own, becoming prepared to enter their senior year as more experienced filmmakers.
